"I want to be a part of the National Geographic Society when I finish school. But with my grades... Nevermind. What do you want to be when you graduate?"
I was just flipping through my school planner for 2010, and saw a sketch of this guy that was in the Photography Club (not the one above).
I remember him saying that he failed lots of subjects- all of them or something; and he seemed to be really sad about it. He also said;
"Bet it's okay for you, since you're smart and all. Must be nice."
But dude, I just told you I failed Add Maths for mid year exams. Lol. Something seemed to click in my head at that moment, and I hesitated before answering. It was something of an epiphany, I guess. I don't know. I couldn't understand even now. So I answered him;
"You're kidding me. I'm the laziest my the class!"
He hummed and looked at the passing cars, seeming to be deep in thought.
To make it more manga-esque; the wind was blowing really hard that day. Lol.
I told an acquaintance about it. She got angry.
"That jerk!" She said.
"Doesn't he understand? How hard people work to get good grades, to do better in life! To realise their dreams!"
I don't understand what she's angry at.
The only thing is that I can't forget what he said.
"Must be nice..."
